Baneco signs LOI to produce fibre to manufacture egg trays

We’re thrilled to announce that Baneco has just received its second customer Letter of Intent (LOI)! 🎉

We’re excited to be partnering with one of the largest manufacturers of sustainable packaging in South America. Currently using recycled paper, which requires significant power, chemicals, and fuel to process and transport, our client is now in the final stages of testing Baneco pulp made entirely from banana agri-waste - 100% virgin fibre, ethically sourced from local farms. With over one million egg trays produced each week, Baneco-infused products could soon be making their way to your kitchen table! This milestone highlights the incredible versatility and untapped potential of banana waste in various industries.
